PMD conference features big guns

HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers (PAMS) held a daylong conference Aug. 8 on documentation requirements for power mobility devices. The conference featured presentations by Dr. Paul Hughes, the medical director for jurisdictions A and B; Jeff Wheeler, vice president and general counsel for TriCenturion, the program safeguard contractor (PSC) for jurisdictions A and B; and Mark Schmeler, a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh. Attendees received specific training in the morning and participated in a roundtable discussion in the afternoon.
