ATLANTA - Brightree has successfully participated in ICD-10 testing with CMS. The billing software provider submitted multiple test claims across all its product lines, including Pacware and MedAct products; CMS received and acknowledged 100% of all claims, according to a release. “The early acknowledgment by CMS validates our ICD-10 readiness and we are confident that we will be ready in advance of transition date,” said COO Chris Watson. CMS conducted testing of ICD-10 billing submissions across a wide range of providers March 7-10 and may offer additional testing. As of Oct. 1, 2014, healthcare claims must contain ICD-10 codes.
