ResMed boosts revenue
SAN DIEGO – ResMed reported revenues of $453.9 million for the three months ended March 31, 2016, a 7% increase compared to the same period in 2015. Net income for the quarter was $88.5 million, a 3% decrease compared to the same period in 2015. Revenue in the Americas was $282.2 million, a 12% increase. "We continue to build on our offerings across our strategy for both products and informatics solutions,” said CEO Mick Farrell. “With the acquisition of Brightree in April, we have established ourselves as the outright leader for cloud-based end-to-end solutions in HME, home health, and hospice channels." ResMed bought Brightree in February for $800 million.
