RESNA offers course on assistive technology basics

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) is offering an introductory course for professionals about technology solutions for people with disabilities, according to a press release. The course, “Fundamentals in Assistive Technology,” is a two-day, in-person class designed to provide a broad overview of every type of assistive technology, including how the technology is used or adapted depending on the disability. The course is relevant for mobility suppliers, rehabilitation engineers and students studying assistive technology, among others. The course fee is $465; RESNA members pay $350, while students pay $315.
