VGM to feature new online ordering portal at Medtrade

WATERLOO, Iowa – The VGM Group will showcase at Medtrade next week a new online portal that automates the ordering process between hospices and HME providers. The online tool is designed to make the ordering process more efficient, stated Matt Waller, vice president, client services, VGM Forbin, in a press release. The portal allows hospice partners to create an account, assign access levels to key staff, place an order and schedule pickups. “It’s extremely seamless,” Waller stated. “The hospice nurse can login to her account and the order goes straight to the HME, which can deliver the right equipment at the right time.” The system integrates with an HME provider’s current customer database, offering a customizable product catalog, email or text alerts for delivery and pickup, and the ability to create custom product packages for quick order.
