AAHomecare announces new officers and directors

June 9, 2003 ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The American Association for Homecare announced new officers of the Board of Directors effective June 3, 2003. Elected officers for the 2003-2004 Board year are: Joel Mills, Advanced Home Care, chair; Timothy Pontius, Young Medical Services, vice chair; Lawrence Higby, Apria Healthcare Group, treasurer; and Bob Cucuel, Air Products Healthcare, secretary. Mills, president & CEO of Advanced Home Care in Greensboro, N.C., succeeds Steve Knoll, president of Knoll Patient Supply, in Topeka, Kan. Knoll will continue on the Board of Directors as immediate past chair. Additionally, six directors were elected. The re-elected directors-at-large include: Todd Christopher, Home Care Supply; Paul Gabos, Lincare Holdings; James Liken, Respironics; and Thomas Ryan, Homecare Concepts. Newly-elected directors include April Mason of Lifeplus, and Al Sorensen of Interim HealthCare.
