Associations work hard on many fronts

Several state associations shared a common booth space at Medtrade in Atlanta. Show organizers donated the booth space. At the booth, the associations offered information about the benefits of membership and signed up new members...The Accredited Medical Equipment Providers Association (AMEPA) has asked providers to photograph oxygen patients as part of its “Change the Face of HME” initiative. AMEPA will compile the photos and keep track of participants. The photos will be handed out to lawmakers and used in future public relations campaigns, said Rob Brant, association president.
