Companies ink diabetes partnership

SALEM, N.H. - AgaMatrix and sanofi-aventis signed a long-term agreement to develop, supply and commercialize blood glucose monitoring solutions, the companies announced March 31. AgaMatrix manufactures blood glucose meters, strips and diabetes management software. sanofi-aventis is a global healthcare company based in France. Its products include Apidra, a fast-acting insulin. “We believe this partnership will enable us to finally fulfill our original vision of making high accuracy blood glucose testing easily available to patients worldwide,” said Sonny Vu, AgaMatrix co-founder.
