Brightree, Strategic AR among fast growers

ATLANTA and OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Brightree and Strategic AR were ranked among the fastest growing private companies in the United States in the recently released 2012 Inc. 500/5000. Brightree ranked No. 73 in the healthcare sector and No. 989 overall. Startegic AR ranked No. 17 in the healthcare sector and No. 250 overall.

Event draws a crowd

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Several consumer groups have signed on to participate in the Consumer Advocacy Pavilion at Medtrade, including American Sleep Apnea Association, COPD Foundation, Paralyzed Veterans of America, United Cerebral Palsy and UsersFirst. MK Battery, which is hosting the pavilion with Medtrade, has raised $150,000 for industry and trade organizations at its two prior “Power for Funding” events.

MedAct provides update

DALLAS – MedAct Software in August reported a 33%-plus increase in top-line revenue for the prior three months. The company also has added “a significant number of providers” to its existing roster of 700-plus, according to a press release. Additionally, MedAct has added about 100 new capabilities and enhancements to its platform, including point-of-sale and document manager solutions, it stated.

Invacare connects

ELYRIA, Ohio – Invacare has launched a new website to house information on its sponsorships, events and community efforts. The site,, will also feature real-life stories about how its equipment is “Making Life’s Experiences Possible,” according to a press release. “ is a place where we can unite all of Invacare’s efforts in one place,” stated Lou Slangen, executive vice president of marketing and chief product officer.
