Bursting with Pride

Booth 1614 -With the addition of the recently acquired Silver Star Lifts, Exeter, Pa.-based Pride Mobility is promoting the compatibility of its expanding product line at its newly redesigned Medtrade 2005 booth. "The booth's look is fresh, exciting and is focused on products and provider support," said Annmarie Poslock, general manager of merchandising. "The addition of Silver Star gives us a more complete mobility solution." Pride's new booth structure and layout are designed for smoother traffic flow, navigability, comfort and snazzier product display, said Kristen Imperiale, director of marketing. "We want to make it easy for providers to walk through the booth and see all Pride's products and services," she said. Among the products in the spotlight are Pride's new full-size Jazzy six-wheel power chair, the Celebrity X scooter and the Quantum Q6 and Q6000 power chairs. The Quantum section is decorated to emphasize the product line's contemporary style, sporting a rotating "Q" along with a black and silver industrial look. Pride will be offering show specials that include discount pricing for scooters, lifts and retail mobility products. "We're sharpening our pencils but Pride goes well beyond pricing with the industry's most comprehensive value-added services from full marketing and advertising support to reimbursement, merchandising and product planning," Imperiale said. "We are there to help the provider make the right business decisions and to assist them in increasing their sales. A bonus attraction will be the appearance of celebrity spokesman Ed McMahon at the booth on Wednesday, Oct. 19, to meet providers and sign autographs.
