HOUSTON - Complete Care Medical is in negotiations to acquire Oklahoma-based Medical Technologies, a rapidly growing HME. If successful, the deal would position CCMI to become a major force in the HME industry and allow Med-Tech, which would operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, to accelerate its growth, with an ambitious 100 new stores planned for 2006.CCMI formed in June when it acquired Diabetes Gold and CarePharm Pharmacy. With access to $70 million in private and public financial backing, CCMI is looking ahead to further expansion. President and CEO J.P. Monteverde III is keeping mum on the details. "We are always interested in anything that can provide better products and services," he said.
