MIAMI - City Medical Services, a provider who's trying to enlist the Small Business Administration (SBA) in its fight against national competitive bidding, debuted a Web site in late June: www.dmeopen.com. The Web site, which stands for Durable Medical Equipment & Oxygen Providers Equality Network, asks providers to send complaints to the SBA, arguing that CMS's program fails to meet a Congressional mandate to protect small providers (See HME News, July 2007). So far, 20 providers have sent formal complaints.
