CMS unveils first 'provider update'

WASHINGTON - CMS last month issued its first edition of a new quarterly publication that lists changes in Medicare and Medicaid regulations to help increase compliance.
CMS plans to issue the "Quarterly Provider Update: The One Source for National Medicare Provider Information" the first business day of each quarter. The update is posted at http://qa.cms.hhs.gov/providerupdate.
Each update lists all regulations CMS published in the previous quarter. The list includes a brief summary of each regulation, as well as its publication date in the Federal Register. The updates also contain a list of regulations CMS plans to publish in the following quarter. HME
