In last week's HME News Wire, we reported that the OIG in early May distributed a survey to a random sample of respiratory therapy providers. The information collected will be used to make future decisions about changing the dispensing fee for respiratory drugs.In that story, we reported that "the deadline to complete the survey is May 18, 2005, but respondents can request a deadline extension until June 20." We want to clarify that requests for extensions will not automatically be Ok'd. They may or may not be granted.
