CPR: A new voice for rehab clients

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - A national program that wants to sound off on funding and equipment access issues for the disabled is taking wing at National Seating & Mobility. Tentatively named the Coalition for Professional Rehab (CPR), NSM Preisdent Mike Ballard believes that none of the disability organizations at large today are really taking care of people who need custom equipment. Since March, Ballard has been working with a legal council, researching bylaws, to allow CPR to exist. “We want an organization that creates awareness and raises money for people with disability,” he said. “The rehab industry simply doesn't have the funds to carry that message right now.” HME
