Essentially Women show focuses on the future
OXFORD, Mich. - Essentially Women, a group purchasing organization for women’s healthcare products, will hold its 5th Annual Focus On The Future education conference and tradeshow May 2-4 in Lexington, Ky.
The show will feature more than 70 exhibits from leading manufacturers and distributors of women’s health care products. The show’s focus, however, is to provide members with solutions for successful business development and management, according to its organizers.
“Our goal is to provide a highly educational experience where members return to their businesses with new ideas, improved management tools, and a better understanding of the detailed changes that are anticipated in our industry’s future,” said Cindy Ciardo, manager of vendor services at Essentially Women.
Miriam Lieber, a healthcare consultant based in Sherman, Oaks, Calif., will present a keynote address on how current and future regulatory changes, such as national competitive bidding, will impact business operations. In addition, Lieber will examine the operational flows and how to streamline them to maximize profits.
Other topics that will addressed during the conference include legislative and regulatory updates, specialty product training, competitive bidding, sales and marketing strategies and Web site development. BOC continuing education credits will be awarded for all classes.
