Fundraising event on tap for Medtrade

LAS VEGAS - AAHomecare announced in late March that it plans to host another Humanitarian Dinner at Medtrade in Atlanta to raise money, this time for patient groups. The association held its first dinner last year, attracting more than 300 guests and raising $75,000. AAHomecare in February awarded the funds to two Gulf-region providers hit hard by Hurricane Katrina (See HME News April 2006). AAHomecare will host this year's dinner on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Proceeds from this year's dinner will go to two patient groups--one that champions rehab and mobility patients and a second that advocates for respiratory disease patients, according to an AAHomecare release.
