Hudson opens fifth branch in Mass.

NEWINGTON, Conn. - Rehab powerhouse Hudson Home Health Care expanded its presence into the Boston metro area in mid-September by opening a fifth branch, this one in Woburn, Mass. The 4,000-square-foot location will provide only rehab products, everything from scooters to high-end specialty control wheelchairs, said Ed Curley Jr., director of marketing. Hudson was already servicing some Boston clients from its Agawam, Mass., location in western Massachusetts. "There is competition, but we have good people and good insurance contracts, so it made sense," Curley said.
