Home Care Medical in New Berlin, Wisconsin has hired Paula Carlo as director of sales and business development. She will be responsible for researching, formulating and implementing Home Care Medical's marketing and sales strategies Patricia A. Suda has been named to the newly created position of vice president of U.S. sales for The VGM Group and promoted to vice president of VGM Canada, effective Jan. 1. Most recently, she was a VGM member service representative in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Northern Pennsylvania and Rhode Island Kevin Davenport has returned to the MED Group as a contracting specialist, responsible for contract development and procurement with manufacturers. He had been MED's director of purchasing from 1990-1995, and more recently worked as director of purchasing for American HomePatient Ace Medical, of Honolulu, Hytech Homecare, of Mentor, Ohio, and Medical Services Companies, of Oakwood Village, Ohio, have joined the MED Group.

Easy Risers Inc. in Fargo, N.D., has named Rick Dickinson president. Ray Martin, inventor of Easy Riser's devices for easy rising, was the former president New Zealand home and medical equipment manufacturer Fisher & Paykel appointed Michael Daniell to be the chief executive of the soon to be formed healthcare company, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corp. Gary Paykel, who is currently Fisher & Paykel's chief executive, will be chairman of the health company and executive chairman of the appliance business.
