CUCAMONGA, Calif. - Nashville-based Ozburn-Hessey Logistics has opened a 100,000-square-foot distribution services facility in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., that provides dedicated warehousing and transportation services for Invacare.

The facility will be used to distribute products in the western and Pacific Northwest regions of the United States

The manufacturing in the Far East, particularly China, has made California a place that 52-year-old Osburn-Hessey needs to be for continued growth, John Peddie, Ozburn-Hessey’s chief operating officer, told the Nashville City Paper.

Prior to this facility Invacare had to truck products to a warehouse in Reno, Nevada. Now the trucking containers can be broken down near the point of ship arrival.
