Booth 1135 - Cutting-edge performance combined with cost conservation is at the heart of Invacare's theme of "Innovation in Product and Cost" at its Medtrade booth this year.
Located at the main doors of the show floor, the Elyria, Ohio-based manufacturer's airy exhibit space is designed to emphasize its diverse product segments in a comfortable atmosphere. The booth features a "hub and spoke" layout, in which each product section - rehab, respiratory and standard products - spokes out from a central hub.
Invacare's respiratory division will showcase the latest innovations to its sleep therapy line, including the new Invacare Polaris EX EZ-Fill Humidifier. Respiratory group representatives will also be on hand to discuss how Invacare's HomeFill II oxygen transfilling system offers improved profit opportunities to providers.
In the rehab section, Invacare will introduce its latest breakthrough in MK Series Electronics, the MK6i, and has devoted a special demonstration area for visitors. Also in rehab, Invacare will highlight the latest enhancements to the Invacare TDX Total Driving Experience power wheelchair. Booth staff will educate Medtrade attendees on the latest in CMS power wheelchair codes as well.
The standard products line is emphasizing bariatrics, unveiling a host of new entries in this burgeoning category. The new generation of bariatric products feature greater weight capacities, with some going up to 1,000 lbs. Invacare bariatric consultant Kevin D. Huffman, DO, a board-certified bariatric physician, will be available at the booth to discuss trends in the bariatric marketplace.
