Invacare, ResMed remain strong

Elyria, Ohio-based Invacare in October reported adjusted net earnings of $13.4 million for the third quarter ended Sept. 30 compared to $10.8 million for the same period last year. Net sales were $461.8 million vs. $407.3 million, a 13.4% increase. For North American HME, net sales were $191.2 million for the third quarter compared to $167.9 million for the same period last year, a 13.9% increase. Poway, Calif.-based ResMed in November reported revenues of $217.9 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, a 17% increase compared to the same period last year. Net income was $28 million, a 16% increase.
