HOLLISTON, Mass. - Invacare Supply Group (ISG) plans to open a new distribution center in Jamesburg, N. J. next Monday, Nov. 22. The new facility will replace the company's existing distribution center in Edison, N. J.
At 80,000-square-feet, the Jamesburg facility will provide 60% more space, allowing ISG to stock hundreds of additional supply items. All employees from the Edison distribution center will be moved to the new facility.
"Invacare Supply Group has seen dramatic growth in the eastern United States," Michael Perry, vice president and general manager of Invacare Supply Group, said in a prepared statement. "This new facility will allow us to keep up with the needs of our customers and ensure they receive timely and quality service."
ISG will close the existing Edison facility at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17. Orders that occur after that time and before the new facility opens on Nov. 22 will be filled by other eastern ISG distribution centers.
