Mabis rewards provider loyalty

WAUKEGAN, ILL. – Mabis DMI Healthcare kicked off a new program this fall to help HME providers boost cash sales and become less reliant on Medicare and Medicaid.

“A good part of our business is supporting nationally known retailers and through insights we gain there and through supporting DME dealers we’ve created a program that will help them succeed in making that transition,” said Alan Yefsky, senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

The Dealer Advantage Program rewards providers for loyalty: The more business they do with Mabis, the more Mabis will help them develop their cash business. The program sets modest purchase requirements: silver, $2,000 a year or more; gold, $4,000; and platinum, $6,000.

Based on their loyalty level, providers receive planograms, spin racks and other merchandising solutions; discounted demo units; a product catalog that can be mailed to customers; co-op advertising; a direct ship program and more.

“We’re wrapping services and solutions around our products so that our customers can be more successful—that benefits them and us,” Yefsky said.”
