Medline showcases Works of Heart

NORTHFIELD, Ill. - Medline has launched Works of Heart, a program to honor healthcare workers across the country. Each month starting in January, Works of Heart will recognize a nominated healthcare worker who is positively impacting patients, communities and peers through attention, compassion and dedication, the company says. “Health care is transforming at a dizzying pace for the care providers, who are asked to balance their patient needs amid increasing operational demands,” said Tim Abate, chief marketing officer for Medline. “The Works of Heart program looks to shine the light on the vital men and women who rise above the unknowns to improve health care one person at a time, no matter where they are in an organization and despite the growing challenges of the industry.” Through December, individuals can visit the Works of Heart website* to nominate a healthcare worker. One winner will also serve as the inspiration for one of Medline's 2021 collectible dolls. Works of Heart is an extension of the company's Pink Glove Dance campaign, which drew greater attention to the need for breast cancer awareness and detection.
