New portable O2 concentrator arrives

ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif. - OxyTec Medical will launch its new portable oxygen concentrator, the OxyTec 900, at Medtrade Spring this month in Las Vegas. The OxyTec 900 includes the following features: weighs under 10 pounds (4.5 kg) with carrying bag/protective housing and two batteries; 8-hour duration at a setting of 2 and 20 breaths per minute (duration depends on a number of variables, including flow setting, breath rate and battery charge status); broad flow range (1.0 to 6.0); touch-screen interface; AC or DC powered; pulse-dose breath technology (patent pending).
