O2 Science adds to its collection

TEMPE, Ariz. - O2 Science continues to grow closer to its goal of building a home respiratory company with 25 branches. Last month, the company announced that it had completed two acquisitions and opened two additional branches, bringing its grand total to 14. The company acquired the Colorado Branch of Healthcare Supply Network, a home respiratory therapy services provider, based in Arizona. This acquisition will be integrated into O2 Science's branch in Arvada, a suburb of Denver. Patients throughout Arvada, Boulder, Denver and the surrounding communities will be served by O2 Science Colorado. O2 Science also completed the acquisition of Medical Enterprises, Inc. of Tucson. Medical Enterprises' patients will now receive care and service from O2 Science's Tucson location. O2 Science's opened locations in Elko, Nev., and one in Flagstaff, Ariz. These branches allow O2 Science to tap new territory while complementing existing locations, said President Mark Hanley. O2 Science arrived on the scene in 1999 with $25 million in working capital and a five-year roll-up plan to build a home respiratory company with 25 locations. The company now operates 14 locations. They include Grand Island and Omaha, Neb.; Arvada, Colo.; Tempe, Bullhead City, Tucson, Lake Havasu City, Flagstaff and Kingman, Ariz.; San Diego and Long Beach, Calif.; Las Vegas and Elko, Nev. and Lenexa, Kan.
