Overstock.com offers closeout prices on HME

SALT LAKE CITY - Online closeout retailer Overstock.com has opened a health and wellness department offering medical equipment and home health products at discounts of up to 70% off list price. Scooters, walkers and skin care products are currently available and the company plans to expand its offerings. A quick browse through Overstock's current offerings revealed the following prices: CTM Homecare's luxury edition personal mobility scooter is offered for $999.99, a steep discount from its regular retail price of $2,499.99; a case of Comficare briefs, extra size, lists at $39.99, a 42% savings; and a Hugo silver seated rolling walker can be had for $89.99, down from a list price of $130.00. The company plans to maintain its standard shipping fee of $2.95 per item.
