LEBANON, Tenn.--Permobil has acquired Lifestand, a French company that specializes in designing and manufacturing “stand-up” wheelchairs, the manufacturer announced June 2. “The purchase allows Permobil to strengthen our product offering in the standing wheelchair category,” stated President Larry Jackson in a release.
