KIRKLAND, Wash. - A couple faces federal charges including healthcare fraud and money laundering after a grand jury handed down a 42-count indictment Sept. 7. Alexander and Valentina Milman are charged with collecting more than $1.6 million in fraudulent Medicaid payments since 2002 through A-Z Pharmacy in Bellevue, Tacoma and Kent, and Lakeshore Pharmacy in Kirkland. According to the charges, the Milmans created false records about deliveries of latex gloves and incontinence supplies, totaling more than $1.3 million, as well as more than $900,000 for prescription drugs.
