NEW YORK - The Philips Breathless Choir made its debut yesterday at the famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, N.Y, in honor of World COPD Day. The group, made up of 18 people living with chronic respiratory conditions, was led by celebrity choirmaster Gareth Malone. "It is with great pride that we today reveal the Breathless Choir to the world,” said Richard Wergan, global executive vice president and head of brand at Royal Philips, to attendees. “We have all been inspired by the choir, and what they collectively managed to accomplish in such a short space of time is truly remarkable." Each member of the choir was provided with the SimplyGo Mini, a portable oxygen concentrator from Philips Respironics.
