ST. LOUIS - The National Coalition for Assistive and Rehab Technology continues to tackle Medicaid issues for its members nationwide.

The coalition in August held the second of two Medicaid Summits to introduce participants to its Medicaid initiatives. The summit was held in St. Louis following the conclusion of the NRRTS Conference, and 47 participants attended the Sunday information sessions.

The meeting kicked-off with an overview of the Medicaid program and also provided attendees with tips and resources they can use to address problems that may arise in their states.

The organization also asked for volunteers from each state to become the point person for its alerts and monitoring system to ensure that everyone is informed when changes arise.

In addition to its Medicaid Summits, NCART has launched an online resource center to arm rehab technology providers with documents, advocacy tools, and consulting and strategy development.
