Rehab group targets transition to HMOs

SAN ANTONIO - The Greater Texas Rehab Providers' Council holds its annual meeting, "Back to the Basics," at the Hyatt Regency here Aug. 2-4. This year's focus: the Medicaid program's ongoing transition to HMOs. "We will have several panel discussions with (Medicaid) representatives," said Tom Hafford, the council's president. "Providers will learn what they can and can't expect from their relationships with HMOs.
