Revenues up 32% for Option Care
BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. - Option Care enjoyed a 32% increase in second quarter revenues, the company reported Aug. 3. The home infusion provider's revenues grew to $158 million for the quarter from $119 million for the same quarter last year. Specialty pharmacy revenues were $89 million, up from $68 million. Revenues from infusion and related healthcare services grew to $64.87 million for the second quarter from $47.69 million for the same quarter in 2005, an increase of 36%. Total operating expenses increased to $36.71 million from $27.41 million.
