Rotech woos away Apria’s acquisition chief

ORLANDO, Fla. -  Rotech Healthcare has hired Apria’s vice president of acquisitions, Jeff Freedman, as its chief development officer. Freedman will be responsible for business acquisitions as well as establishing new branches for Rotech Healthcare.
Freedman also worked for Lincare for three years as part of their acquisition group.
"As Rotech emerges from the operational turnaround, revenue growth is a key strategic priority for 2005 and beyond," Philip L. Carter, Rotech’s president and CEO said in a prepared statement.
