Sunrise adds distribution center in the Northeast

LONGMONT, Colo. - Sunrise Medical added a distribution center outside of Boston, which will increase and expedite delivery coverage to customers on the East Coast, according to a company release.
During the next 12 to 18 months, Sunrise Medical will deploy an expanded distribution center strategy across the United States. These centers will increase Sunrise's overnight delivery coverage in the U.S. from 30% of the country to more than 80% once the plan is implemented.
“By locating distribution centers close by to our largest customers, we can assist them in minimizing their on-hand inventory needs,” said Allen Traylor, vice president of North American manufacturing and distribution.
