Sunrise Medical names new North American president

LONGMONT, Colo. - Mark Liebetrau has joined Sunrise Medical as the company's new president of commercial operations, North America. Liebetrau's responsibilities include sales, marketing and customer service for the company's homecare operations.
Liebetrau has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience. He has extensive experience developing sales and marketing strategies for medical device manufacturers, serving a broad range of end-user requirements.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Liebetrau consulted on a number of product launches for a medical device manufacturer and distributor of cardiovascular diagnostic equipment. Liebetrau assisted in the development of a complete sales, service, quality and regulator infrastructure for a groundbreaking device for the early detection of vascular/cardiovascular disease. Prior to his consultancy, Liebetrau spent seven years as vice president and general manager for a $1.1 billion medical devices and services division of Hillenbrand Industries.
