EL PASO, Texas--Sheriff's deputies here arrested a woman who allegedly used a CPAP and an oxygen concentrator to smuggle drugs to her jailed husband, a local news outlet reported Jan. 16. Bernadette Valenzuela, 41, is charged with three counts of prohibited substances and items in a correctional facility. Medical staff at the El Paso County Detention Facility inspected the machines and found contraband, including 200 pain and barbiturate pills, 10 utility blades and a buck knife.
