TracMed adds to its e-CMN business

SCHENECTADY, N.Y - Pacific Pulmonary Services of Novato, Calif., has signed an agreement to use Trac Medical's e-CMN solution, CareCert.
Founded in 1978, Pacific Pulmonary Services specializes in home oxygen therapy equipment and services, nebulizers and respiratory medications. Pacific Pulmonary will initially begin its rollout of the CareCert Solution in Southern California.
"TracMed's eCMN solution offers physicians and their staff a quick and efficient means to complete the documentation required for the Medicare patients we serve," said Jim Doty, Vice President Marketing, Pacific Pulmonary Services. "TracMed's system appears to be a win for our physician offices and Pacific Pulmonary Services."
Trac is one of several companies offering HME providers an e-CMN solution.
CareCert alerts doctors to an e-CMN waiting to be processed with an e-mail. The doctor then goes to a secure Web site, from any terminal, completes the CMN and signs off on it using an encrypted signature.
