At the Arizona Medical Equipment Suppliers Association (AZMESA), 3rd annual conference in June, the members voted in a new board of directors. Serving AZMESA for 2004-2005: President: Steven Treinen, Banner Health System; Vice President: Mark Farmer, Southwest Mobility; Secretary: Curt McLees, OrthoRehab; Treasurer: Patti Hartzell, Sierra Medical Supply; Past President: Richard McKee, Dependable Health Services Inc. Voted to the board of directors was Maureen Hanna, Healthcare Reimbursement Consultants Inc.; Priscilla Covey, Dependable Health Services Inc.; Craig Harris, Sierra Medical Supply; and Rich Glazebrook, Banner Health System. Continuing to serve on the board is Gemma Perry English, Healthcare Solutions Plus; and Wade Hendrickson, Hendrickson Healthcare, is an honorary member of the board of directors.

The American Diabetes Association has added James Schlicht as chief government affairs & advocacy officer. This is a new position. Schlicht's 25-year career has taken him in and out of public service and the pharmaceutical industry.
