VGM leads patients to providers

WATERLOO, Iowa - The VGM Group has created a lead-generating Web site, hmeprovider.com, designed to connect caregivers and patients with local HME providers.
“VGM has created a consumer-directed, lead-generating Web site to provide product information and additional resources for aging and disabled consumers and their caregivers,” stated Jeremy Kauten, general manager of VGM Forbin, in a release. “This site focuses heavily on the needs of those who wish to stay in their homes.”
Here's how www.hmeprovider.com works: Caregivers and patients are directed to the site, where they can review a product catalog, get production information and, in many cases, view demonstration videos. They can also request a free quote by entering basic information about themselves or loved ones.
An electronic lead notification is then sent to VGM members who choose to participate, alerting them to a product inquiry in their area. Members may accept or decline the lead, then follow up with the caregiver or patient directly.
VGM will demonstrate the new site at its booth at Medtrade (2545).
