Viasys adds wearable CPAP

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.- Viasys Healthcare added to its suite of obstructive sleep apnea products in November when it acquired Hoffman Laboratories. Hoffmann attracted attention early last year when it debuted BreatheX, a wearable CPAP unit. "The Hoffman acquisition demonstrates VIASYS Respiratory Care's commitment to expand its presence in the sleep therapy market and maintain its leadership position in the mechanical ventilation market," said Ed Pulwer, vice president of Viasys Respiratory Care.
