Viemed sees continued growth

LAFAYETTE, La. - Viemed Healthcare reported revenues of $18.5 million for the fourth quarter of 2018, an increase of 37% over the sane quarter the previous year. Revenues for the full year were $65.3 million, an increase of 39% compared to 2017. Adjusted EBITDA was $4.9 million for the quarter and $17.2 million for the year. Viemed grew its ventilator patient count in the fourth quarter by approximately 8% compared to the third quarter, and by 35% for all of 2018. Looking ahead, the company expects to generate revenues of $20 million to $20.5 million for the first quarter of 2019. “I am delighted with our team's ability to execute in 2018, as we post yet another record-breaking quarter and year,” said Casey Hoyt, CEO. “Our world class clinicians are driven by improving quality of life and producing positive outcomes. Reporting these outcomes to our payers will become the cornerstone of our focus, as we aim to get our service to the 95% of patients in the country still in need of our care allowing for significant growth in future years.”
