YARMOUTH, Maine - Wheelchair users will host a virtual town hall meeting on Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. EST to educate the general public on the unique needs of complex rehab technology users. “Our mission is to provide an outlet for CRT users to share their unique stories and educate through personal experience,” a bulletin says. The agenda for the meeting includes giving attendees the tools to portray the importance of CRT and strategies they can use to push important legislation like H.R. 2293, which would stop CMS from applying bid pricing for complex rehab manual wheelchairs for one year.
