One more reason to attend the Summit


Based on the number of emails and phone calls I get each month about our HME Databank, I think there'll be significant interest in a bonus session we've added to the program for this year's HME News Business Summit.

The folks who power the HME Databank, Dimensional Insight, will present a session at 4:30 on Sunday, Sept. 11, on how attendees can use the Databank to determine market share, keep track of competitors and strategize for growth.

For those of you who are in a Round 2 competitive bidding areas, here's a way to find out how the Databank can help you form bids. The Databank's Product Share tracks annual fee-for-service reimbursement for 279 products, all those included in Round 1 of the program, on a national, state and county level.

Two more notable mentions about the Databank: I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch, but we're very close to updating the website with 2010 data (at last!) and we're very close to revamping the website, with the help of Dimensional Insight, so it looks and works better.
