SmartSaver rates in effect for Medtrade East

ATLANTA – Registration is open for Medtrade East, scheduled for Oct 24-26 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. SmartSaver rates are now in effect through July 1 and are the lowest rates available ($125 for a Conference Pass and $30 for an Expo Pass). A Conference Pass includes full access to the Expo floor. This is the last year for Medtrade East. Beginning in 2023, there will be one combined event in Dallas on March 28-30. Register for Medtrade East.

Medtrade to become once-a-year event

PHOENIX and ATLANTA – Emerald will combine Medtrade West and Medtrade East into one event in 2023, says Show Director York Schwab.
The change is in response to years of “consistent feedback” from exhibitors and attendees, he says.
“It’s the No. 1 thing I’ve seen on every survey,” he said.

AAHomecare: Industry ‘shining’ as pressure mounts

ATLANTA – There’s an increasing amount of pressure on CMS to finalize a DMEPOS proposed rule that would adjust payment rates for HME, AAHomecare’s Tom Ryan said in an update at Medtrade East on Tuesday morning.
A letter asking CMS to act on the rule, published a year ago, garnered 95 signatures last week from members of the House of Representatives, including champions on the influential Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce committees.
