CDC: 9.3% of U.S. population has diabetes

WASHINGTON - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released the National Diabetes Statistics Report 2014 this week and it's not pretty.The CDC now believes 29.1 million people, or 9.3% of the U.S. population, had diabetes in 2012, up from 26 million in 2010.
