New hire to grow new markets at Ottobock


AUSTIN, Texas – Ottobock North America has appointed Chris Nolan vice president of the orthotics business unit. He will help lead the company’s strategic efforts in O&P and provide guidance into growing new markets.

James Newberry, a longtime practitioner and board member for the Board of Certification/Accreditation, passed away on June 27. He began his career as an orthotist/prosthetist while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Brightree names new CEO


ATLANTA – Brightree announced its acquisition by ResMed earlier this year and now it has a new CEO.

Matt Mellott will take the lead at the software company, replacing current president and CEO Dave Cormack, who will transition to a multi-year advisory role.
