Fastrack builds billing business


PLAINVIEW, N.Y. - In the third such deal in five years, Fastrack Healthcare Systems has acquired the assets of Newnan, Ga.-based billing service Prometheus Group and its 150 billers. The two companies have had a partnership for more than two years.



Invacare CEO and Chairman of the Board Mal Mixon recently suffered a mild stroke and will take a temporary medical leave of absence, the company reported April 30. "I have suffered a mild stroke, but fortunately, my condition is stable and my doctors have told me the prognosis for a full recovery is favorable," Mixon stated in a release.
