On April 26, 2023, with the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) just weeks away, CMS issued a round of FAQs to set stakeholder expectations for expiring pandemic-era policies. While the document covers a wide range of topics, only a handful of the questions address key issues on the minds of DME suppliers.

Then on April 28, 2023, the DME MACs followed up with claim submission instructions related to the continued use of the CR modifier.

With so much happening at the proverbial eleventh hour, suppliers don’t have a lot of time to:

  1. Process the newest information,
  2. Reason through the remaining unknowns, and
  3. Develop an effective action plan to protect themselves.

To help do just that, Andrea Stark (MiraVista LLC) and Noel Neil (ACU-Serve Corp) are hosting CMS’s End of the Public Health Emergency FAQs for DME Suppliers on May 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM (ET).

This session includes:

  1. Summary of the recent DME-specific guidance.
  2. Moderated discussion on how DME suppliers can confidently navigate the post-PHE transition.
  3. Attendee Q&A with Andrea and Noel.
